Supertech Twin Towers Case: Supreme Court Postpones Hearing on Homebuyers’ Refund Plea
New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday deferred by three months the hearing on a plea seeking refunds for homebuyers of Supertech’s demolished twin towers in Noida. A bench comprising Chief Justice Surya Kant and Justices Joymalya Bagchi and V. Mohana noted submissions that efforts were underway to settle the claims of buyers who had not opted for alternative allotments.
Accepting the request, the apex court granted three months to explore other options for compensating the affected homebuyers before taking up the matter again.
