CBI Finds No Evidence Linking Sanjeev Mukhiya to NEET-UG 2024 Paper Leak

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday said it found no evidence linking Sanjeev Kumar, alias Sanjeev Mukhiya, to the theft or distribution of the leaked NEET-UG 2024 question paper. In a statement, the agency said the case was initially registered by the Bihar Police after the question paper theft was detected last year.

The CBI said Sanjeev Mukhiya had come under suspicion during the initial investigation because of his alleged involvement in other paper leak cases. Based on this, the Bihar Police had named him as an accused in the FIR. However, after taking over the probe, the CBI said it did not find any material to establish his role in the theft or circulation of the NEET-UG 2024 question paper.
