Netflix’s Kargil War Drama ‘Operation Safed Sagar’ to Premiere on August 7
Mumbai: Netflix has announced that its upcoming war drama series “Operation Safed Sagar”, inspired by the Indian Air Force’s role during the 1999 Kargil War, will premiere globally on August 7. The series chronicles the untold story of the Golden Arrows Squadron and the people behind the high-risk operation, highlighting their courage, sacrifice, and resilience.
Directed by Oni Sen and created by Abhijeet Singh Parmar and Kushal Srivastava, the military drama features an ensemble cast including Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill, Abhay Verma, Arnav Bhasin, Dia Mirza, Prajakta Koli, Mihir Ahuja, Taaruk Raina, Adil Hussain, and Amrita Bagchi. Netflix said the series aims to bring to the screen a powerful chapter of India’s military history.
