Four Killed, Seven Injured in Truck-Van Collision in MP’s Chhindwara
CHHINDWARA (MP): Four persons were killed and at least seven others injured after a truck rammed into a pick-up van carrying labourers in Madhya Pradesh’s Chhindwara district on Monday, police said.
The accident took place on the Chhindwara-Betul National Highway near Tamri village, around 30 km from the district headquarters, officials said. Lawaghoghri police station house officer Aftab Khan said four people died in the collision, while seven others sustained injuries.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Rameshwar Choubey said further details about the victims and the cause of the crash were awaited. Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
