Indian Junior Men’s Artistic Gymnastics Team Bags Bronze at Asian Championships
NEW DELHI: India’s junior men’s artistic gymnastics team created history by winning the bronze medal at the Asian Championships in Zunyi, China, marking a significant milestone for the country’s gymnastics program.
The Indian team of Harschit Damodaran, Nishad Narvane, SK Nabigh Ali, Akshat Bajaj and Mohammed Zaid Ansari produced an impressive performance against some of Asia’s strongest gymnastics nations to secure third place with a total score of 224.493 points on Friday.
Hosts China claimed the gold medal with a commanding score of 241.458 points, while Japan finished second to take the silver medal with 239.461 points.
