Indian Worker Found Dead in Jerusalem Flat; Israeli Man Arrested After Body Found In Pool of Blood

Jerusalem: An Indian national working in Israel was found dead in an apartment in Jerusalem’s Katamon neighbourhood, with Israeli police arresting a 31-year-old Israeli man on suspicion of murder.

According to local media reports, the 40-year-old victim was discovered lying on the floor of the apartment in a pool of blood. The chief of Jerusalem’s Moriah police station Yuval Reuven said the man is found stretched out in a house with a lot of blood surrounding him by the officers.

Investigators believe the case points to a possible criminal motive. The suspect was arrested in the southern city of Eilat and is currently in police custody for questioning. Authorities have launched a murder investigation, while further details about the victim and the circumstances leading to his death are yet to be disclosed.
