Punjab Police Foils ISI-Sponsored BKI Terror Module, Makes Key Arrests

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Police has busted an ISI-sponsored Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) terror module with the arrest of a key operative and recovery of an 86-P hand grenade, foiling a planned attack, DGP Gaurav Yadav said on Monday.

The operation was carried out jointly by the Counter Intelligence, Jalandhar, and the SBS Nagar Police. According to the DGP, the arrested accused allegedly procured the grenade from Jalandhar on the directions of foreign-based handlers. Yadav said the operation marks a breakthrough against cross-border terror networks.
