Rahul Gandhi Slams PM Modi Over Education, Seeks Dharmendra Pradhan’s Resignation

New Delhi: Amid intensifying protests over the alleged NEET paper leak, Lok Sabha Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi on Thursday launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of causing the “greatest harm” to the future of India’s youth by allowing the education system to be “captured and destroyed.” The Congress leader also reiterated the Opposition’s demands, urging the Centre to remove Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, apologise to students, and take action against those accused of assaulting protesters during demonstrations over the NEET controversy.

Responding to the Prime Minister’s remarks on protecting students’ interests and taking strict action against paper leaks, Gandhi alleged that the Centre had failed to safeguard the education system and had protected those responsible for its decline. In a post, he said the government had encouraged the destruction of the education system instead of fixing it.
