Vice President Radhakrishnan Begins Three-Day Leh Visit, to Attend International Yoga Day Program

Leh/Jammu: Vice President C P Radhakrishnan arrived in Leh on Friday on a three-day visit to the Union Territory of Ladakh, where he will participate in the International Yoga Day celebrations on June 21.

Radhakrishnan was accorded a warm welcome upon his arrival at the Kushok Bakula Rinpochee Airport in Leh. He was received by Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil Chief Executive Councillor Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, Lok Sabha MP from Ladakh Mohmad Haneefa, along with senior civil and administrative officials.

During his visit, the Vice President is scheduled to take part in Yoga Day events in the high-altitude region, which has emerged as a key venue for the nationwide celebrations of the annual event promoting health, wellness, and holistic living.
