Gang Leader Wanted in 25+ Criminal Cases Arrested in Patna

PATNA: A notorious gang leader wanted in more than 25 criminal cases was arrested from Patna railway station on Tuesday following a swift operation by the Special Task Force (STF), police said.

The accused, identified as Sanjay Singh, is the leader of the criminal outfit ‘Pandav Sena’ and has been evading law enforcement for a considerable period.

Police said the STF tracked Singh to the railway station on the basis of a specific tip-off. As officers moved in to apprehend him, he allegedly attempted to escape after spotting the police team.

However, STF personnel acted quickly and overpowered him before he could flee, leading to his arrest without any reported injuries or further incident.
