Team India at Dharamshala ahead of ODI against Afghanistan, Rohit faces a 37-year-old record

With the IPL over, international cricket matches are now underway. After the Test series, the one-day series is about to begin. Team India registered an unambiguous victory in the only Test against Afghanistan. They won by an innings and 300 runs. The one-day series between India and Afghanistan will start from June 13. Team India has reached the Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala for the first ODI. The Indian cricket team arrived at Kangra airport for the first ODI against Afghanistan, where a large number of fans lined up to welcome the cricketers.

Fans were excited to see players like Rohit Sharma, Shreyas Iyer, Shubman Gill and KL Rahul. Team India was seen in the New Jersey. Rohit is going to play his first match after the IPL. He has the opportunity to break a 37-year-old record. This series can be considered as a pre-2027 preparation for Team India. Earlier, all the Indian players were training in Mohali, where Rohit Sharma also joined the team. He passed the fitness test at the Centre of Excellence and joined the team.

All eyes were on Team India’s new tour kit as the players arrived in Dharamshala on Thursday. Prince Yadav, Harsh Dubey and Gurnur Brar’s first ODI series with the national team. In this series, fans will miss Virat Kohli, who was part of the team but was ruled out due to injury. Hardik Pandya is also out due to injury. Kohli has been replaced by Yasushi. Rohit has been declared fully fit to play the ODI series against Afghanistan. He is expected to play all three matches.
