Car Catches Fire on Pune-Bengaluru Highway, Crowd Sparks Traffic Chaos

Pune: A car caught fire on the Pune-Bengaluru Highway near Navale Bridge around midnight, briefly disrupting traffic and causing long queues in both directions. A video of the incident, showing the vehicle engulfed in flames, has gone viral on social media, with onlookers gathered as firefighters worked to douse the blaze.

The car, believed to be an older-generation Hyundai i20 based on the visuals, was reportedly abandoned after the driver noticed smoke coming from the vehicle. Within moments, it caught fire and was completely gutted.

The particular cause of the fire is yet to be known. No injuries have been reported so far.
